NOAHCommentary & Analysis by L. A. Marzulli
The Wifey and I saw Noah last night. Apart from the ark and the names of the characters, the movie is a complete departure from the reality of scripture, period. It’s not worth seeing and Christians should pan it and raise our voices in protest against this blatant perversion of scripture as I will do with this BLOG!
The reason for the flood is the Nephilim being on the earth. This is never mentioned at all, which is in fact, the essence of the text. We are also told, in The Book of Enoch, that it is these Watcher angels who cause all the trouble, as they take wives from whoever they wish and having sex with them, produce the unholy offspring known as the Nephilim. I cover this in-depth in my book The Cosmic Chess Match.
We are told in the Genesis 6, text, that Noah was pure in all his generations. This is a direct comment pointing to the fact that Noah’s line, his genetics, are not contaminated by fallen angelic DNA. So why are these fallen angels coming to earth? To stop the line of Messiah being born and to redeem mankind! If Satan can wipe out the seed of the woman there is no Messiah, thus no redemption, it’s checkmate and the Fallen One wins!
In the beginning of the movie Noah’s father, Lamech wraps a snake-skin around his arm and is about to bless Noah. The snake-skin is from the serpent in the garden, who in the film sheds his skin just before deceiving Eve! This scene has nothing to do with the Biblical text and according to this link comes straight from the Jewish mystical book The Kabbalah. http://drbrianmattson.com/journal/2014/3/31/sympathy-for-the-devil
The Biblical narrative has what I would call a vetting process by the Most High God when he declares. Noah you and your wife, your sons and their wives. In Aronofsky film only one of the sons is married and other two Ham and Shem are not. This, of course is yet another glaring error that made me want to stand up in the theater and start preaching against what I was seeing. It was only with much restraint that I managed to sit still in my seat!
Then there are the so-called Watchers, who look like something out of the Lord of the Rings film, with Treebeard the Ent. In the Noah film these stone-like beings actually help Noah in building the ark. But wait it gets even better! There is a battle scene right before the fountains of the deep are broken open and we see these trapped earth-bound, fallen, watcher angels released and reconciled to God as they ascend to heaven. Contrast this complete departure from scripture with what we read in Jude: And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great …
Then there’s the problem of the stowaway, Tubal Cain, who chops his way into the ark as the rain begins to fall and later is killed in hand to hand combat with Noah, which is unbelievable!
One of the most troubling aspects of the film is the way Noah is portrayed. Instead of a man of righteousness as the Bible tells he is, Noah is a homicidal maniac who wants to kill his daughter-in-law’s newborn twins, who are girls! This is complete fabrication by Aronofsky and in my opinion this false portrayal alone is one of the many reasons not to see the film and pan it.
In closing today’s post. Why is the Noah film coming out now? Think about it. Millions of people will go and see this false portrayal of a passage of scripture which I believe holds the key to the Prophecies Jesus warns us with in Matthew 24, and elsewhere, when He admonishes us, It will be like the days of Noah when the son of man returns. Jesus words are the key to the last days, and those of you who come here regularly, know I believe we are in final days before the return of the king!
Millions of people will think they know what Noah is about, but this movie blatantly, and I believe deliberately, steers the viewer away from the truth of the passage and creates a falsehood, a lie, a deliberate departure. I believe it may be because when a person comes to an understanding of the Genesis 6, text, the rest of scripture opens up and they see the seed war come alive which is mentioned in Genesis 3:15: And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
This is the first prophecy about the coming of the Messiah! This seed war will come to a culmination when the seed of the serpent creates the Anti-Christ, or the Man of Lawlessness. Will he boast of an Extraterrestrial connection as Chuck Missler posits? I think so, and this is why understanding the Genesis 6, passage is so important. Was this film made to keep millions from coming to an a clear understanding of what the Bible states? I would posit that is is and the movie is a complete departure from the reality of scripture and is in fact, another Gospel that embraces the Fallen Host of heaven, in other words Satan and his minions and not the God of the Bible. Pan it!
