Commentary & Analysis by L. A. Marzulli
The gigantic missile thought to measure almost a mile across will brush closer than previous monsters which have sparked a global panic.
Worried astronomers warned 1999 FN53, which is an eighth of the size of Mount Everest, will skim the Earth in THREE DAYS.
A collision would be nothing short of catastrophic triggering mass destruction, earthquakes and global extinction.
The monster is more than TEN TIMES bigger than other meteorites currently visible on NASA’s Near Earth Object radar.
Is the fly-by of the asteroid more end-times hype or should we be concerned? Is it business as usual or something more? Does it tie in with the Illuminati card game? Can we trust personal prophecy or visions from so-called prophets?
We are told in the Guidebook to the Supernatural i.e. The Bible: There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven. I can trust scripture as it is the sure word of prophecy, but is this asteroid a prophetic fulfillment?
We are seeing what I would consider an uptick in volcanic activity. https://theextinctionprotocol.wordpress.com
And we are certainly seeing earthquakes happening in diverse places. http://the-japan-news.com/news/article/0002137062
Does this asteroid factor into prophecy or will it be another fly-by that misses us and everyone can go back reading about Footballs being deflated or Jeb Bush running for president! (Please, anyone but Jeb!!!)
Added to this end-time mix are droughts which are happening not only in California but throughout the Middle East. http://www.reuters.com/article/2014/03/07/us-climate-drought-middleast-idUSBREA2611P20140307
Then there are UFOs which are manifesting on an ongoing basis and certainly not going away! http://www.ufosightingsdaily.com/2015/05/giant-winged-alien-mothership-detected.html
In closing todays post. Are we in the last days? I would imagine that most folks don’t think about the signs Jesus warned us about. If the numbers on my BLOG are any indication of interest—we get about 3 to 5 thousands people a day who visit. (This is after almost 8 years of tracking the birth-pains and looking at world events through the Biblical prophetic lens.) Most people don’t think about the Return of the King, or the prophetic literature in our Bibles. Most folks go about their lives without a second thought about the things we discuss here on this blog.
Where is the promise of His coming? Don’t all things continue just as they always have?
Jesus warns us it would be like the days of Noah just before He returns. In other words the flood came and no one was prepared for it, no one saw it coming. It’s different for those of us who know Biblical prophecy, as we know the signs of His return and because of the Internet and tele-communications we now have a global perspective about the signs manifesting.
I was on the Jim Paris show last night and was asked about prophecy. I replied that I hold on to all of it very loosely, as how many people showed up in Bethlehem for the birth of the Messiah? How many of Jesus’ followers knew about the cross? Who could have foreseen the rebirth of Israel or The Arab Spring? Asteroids, comets, earthquakes, WWIII? At some point there will be a tipping point and we will see changes we have never dreamed of. Nevertheless Jesus tells us: when you see these things begin to happen look up for your redemption is coming….
